Key Responsibilities
Shape and lead the security engineering roadmap, including assessment, design, implementation, and ongoing operation of security initiatives
Design and build security controls and automation for applications, cloud infrastructure, identity and access management, CI/CD, and infrastructure as code
Lead threat modeling, secure code and design reviews, and prioritize vulnerability remediation with reusable controls to prevent recurrence
Improve security checks in engineering workflows, including dependency and secret scanning, while reducing false positives for developers
Contribute to security incident investigations and response, enhancing detection and response tooling based on lessons learned
Mentor security engineers and help product engineers build security skills through technical guidance, documentation, and training
Collaborate with Legal, IT, and Trust & Safety on technical security controls, policies, and audit evidence
Measure and communicate the effectiveness and adoption of security controls to stakeholders
