This DevOps Engineer II role supports the FTM Support Program, delivering secure and reliable mission applications for Navy Fleet Readiness and Training systems. The engineer will design and maintain CI/CD pipelines, manage Kubernetes/OpenShift clusters, and implement Infrastructure as Code to ensure compliance and stability across multiple environments. Candidates need 3-5 years of DevOps experience, expertise with CI/CD tools, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform/Ansible, and an active DoD Secret clearance.

Salary range of $115,000 to $125,000 annually.
Focus on CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes/OpenShift, and Infrastructure as Code.
Key Responsibilities
Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using platforms such as GitLab, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or Jenkins.
Manage pipeline secrets and credentials with secure vaulting compliant with DoD policies.
Optimize pipelines to improve build times, reliability, and deployment traceability.
Ensure CI/CD environments comply with DISA STIGs, RMF, vulnerability management, and ATO documentation.
Participate in cybersecurity reviews, accreditation, and RMF evidence preparation.
Manage Kubernetes/OpenShift clusters including RBAC, namespaces, network policies, and monitoring.
Develop and maintain Helm charts, deployment manifests, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
Implement and maintain IaC using Terraform, Ansible, or similar tools across multiple enclaves.
Version-control infrastructure and participate in change control and configuration management.
Automate tasks such as patching, configuration validation, log ingestion, and backups.
Monitor system performance with tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, or ELK and configure alerts.
Troubleshoot CI/CD, infrastructure, container, and application issues in hybrid environments.
Collaborate with development and engineering teams to resolve build and deployment issues.
Produce and maintain documentation for pipelines, infrastructure, and deployment procedures.
Support configuration management baselines and audit readiness activities.
Provide reporting inputs on DevOps metrics, system stability, and deployment outcomes.
