Work with cutting-edge agentic frameworks, MCPs, and RAG systems
Key Responsibilities
Architect, build, and maintain the central repository of reusable AI skills, agentic workflows, prompt templates, and developer starter kits
Build and deploy functional AI agents, tool-calling chains, and conversational copilots using Python and frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, or AutoGen
Implement and standardize Model Context Protocols (MCPs) and custom tool harnesses to connect LLMs securely with internal enterprise databases, APIs, and document stores
Design and optimize Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines, embedding strategies, semantic search indices, and vector database storage
Partner with embedded AI coaches across departments to package one-off team solutions into reusable, well-documented enterprise knowledge assets and starter templates
Establish automated testing harnesses, evaluate agent performance and output quality, track adoption metrics, and manage version-controlled releases via GitHub

Job Description

Job Title: AI Engineer – Enterprise AI Enablement, Agents and MCPs (LangChain & RAG)

Location: Austin, TX, 78704 / Chicago, IL / Urbandale, IA (Open to 100% Fully Remote)

Contract Duration: 12 Months Contract with possibility of Extension

Shift Structure: First Shift | Standard Daytime Business Hours (Approx. 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM), Monday through Friday

Pay Rate: $56.00 - $60.00/hr on W2

Technical Assessment: Mandatory Glider AI/Coding Assessment required prior to client submission.

Portfolio Requirement: N/A (Technical code/agent architecture discussion during interview)

Visa Sponsorship: Standard onshore onboarding requirements apply.
