Key Responsibilities
Architecting, building, testing, and deploying full stack applications and APIs that support the consumer experience, including delivery tracking, notifications, and internal support tools
Modifying designs and specifications of complex, distributed microservice applications
Collaborating and adding value through participation in peer code reviews, providing comments and suggestions
Working with technical and non-technical end-users, other engineers, data scientists, and product managers in a cross-functional, quick-moving, and collaborative environment
Analyzing code, requirements, system risks, and software reliability and providing recommendations on how to leverage technology more efficiently
Working with Product and Design to confirm requirements, prioritization, and development of new features, and engaging in evaluation of tradeoff decisions between business, technical, and product outcomes
Working with Data Science teams to integrate their data-based decisions into product offerings
Enabling automated workflow through integration with large language models
Providing technical leadership and mentorship to other Software Engineers on the team, as well as partnering with other staff engineers outside the team to align on coherent technical strategy and implementation
