Key Responsibilities
Lead projects end to end, structuring and breaking down work on storefront initiatives, defining technical tasks, and delivering solutions.
Own the quality bar by delivering secure, testable, maintainable, low-defect, efficient work that is well designed and documented.
Drive technical decisions in a complex domain, weighing other engineers' points of view against business requirements to synthesize the best solution.
Build consensus by harmonizing discordant technical views and leading the resolution of contentious issues across engineering and with cross-functional partners.
Create the things that make others faster by producing exemplars, frameworks, shared components, runbooks, and technical documentation.
Debug across the stack, identifying and correcting defects across multiple technologies from the Remix application and edge layer through third-party platform integrations.
Communicate to align by structuring technical communication and documentation that achieves alignment on decisions of broad scope across codebases, projects, and business functions.
Map business needs to technology, influencing business processes and product decisions within the Lume domain.
Grow the people around you by actively sharing knowledge, creating structures and processes for routine sharing, and coaching less experienced engineers.
