Senior Full-Stack Engineer

2. About the Opportunity:

The Senior Full-Stack Engineer will contribute across the full technology stack, including backend, frontend, and AI-integrated product features. This role supports the development and delivery of customer-facing functionality, integrating AI capabilities, and enhancing the platform''s data and service architecture. The position is designed for an engineer seeking diverse technical challenges in web and applied AI on a lean, growing team.

3. Responsibilities:

• Deliver features end-to-end across Node.js/Express backends and React/Tailwind frontends
• Develop APIs, user interfaces, and data flows for customer-facing products
• Contribute to platform-level data, authentication, and service patterns
• Integrate large language model (LLM) functionalities into product surfaces
• Manage frontend connections to LLM and MCP endpoints, ensuring robust handling of streaming and error states
• Support AI feature evaluation, fixtures, and tooling
• Participate in code reviews, documentation, and engineering practice improvements
• Utilize AI coding tools in daily development
• Perform other duties as assigned

4. Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of professional full-stack software engineering experience
• Proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript for Node.js backend and React frontend
• Experience with document or NoSQL databases such as MongoDB
• Ability to build and consume REST APIs and manage JSON data contracts
• Strong interest and drive to develop expertise in agents, MCP, and applied AI
• Fluency with AI coding tools (e.g., Claude, Cursor, Copilot)

Preferred:

• Familiarity with SDKs from LLM providers like Anthropic or OpenAI
• Exposure to MCP, agent frameworks, or LLM-integrated features
• Experience with cloud infrastructure (preferably AWS) and CI/CD pipelines
• Background in regulated software environments or life-sciences SaaS
• Knowledge of authentication patterns such as Passport, OAuth, or OIDC

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field preferred
• Relevant technical certifications are welcomed
