# Full Stack Developer
## About the Role
We are seeking a **Full Stack Developer** for a remote contract W2 opportunity supporting cloud-native, API-driven applications. The role requires strong hands-on experience across backend and frontend development, with a focus on **Python, JavaScript, AWS**, and modern application frameworks.
The ideal candidate will have experience developing cloud applications on AWS, working within Agile delivery environments, and collaborating effectively with distributed teams while maintaining the ability to work independently.
## Key Responsibilities
* Develop and maintain full-stack applications using Python and JavaScript.
* Build cloud-native, API-driven applications on **AWS**.
* Develop backend services using **Django, Flask, FastAPI, Falcon, SQLAlchemy**, or comparable frameworks.
* Develop frontend applications using **Vue.js, React, Angular (v1.6+), Svelte**, or comparable frameworks.
* Contribute across the full application development lifecycle.
* Apply Agile methodologies within software development and delivery environments.
* Collaborate with distributed development and delivery teams.
* Work independently on development tasks while maintaining effective communication with team members.
* Support the development and delivery of scalable cloud applications.

## Required Qualifications
* **U.S. Citizen.**
* Eligible for a **Public Trust**.
* Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
* **10+ years of total professional experience** may be considered in lieu of a bachelor’s degree.
* **6+ years of hands-on full-stack application development experience.**
* **3+ years of cloud application development experience on AWS.**
* Strong proficiency in **Python and JavaScript**.
* Experience with backend frameworks such as **Django, Flask, FastAPI, Falcon, or SQLAlchemy**.
* Experience with frontend frameworks such as **Vue.js, React, Angular (v1.6+), or Svelte**.
* Experience building cloud-native, API-driven applications.
* Strong understanding of **Agile methodologies** and experience working in Agile delivery environments.
* Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with distributed teams.
