About The Role

We are seeking a proactive and skilled Full Stack Developer to join GrabJobs on a fully remote basis. In this role, you will be the sole developer responsible for supporting and enhancing a career platform integrated with Workday for a major German corporation with over 1,000 open positions. Your primary focus will be on developing, maintaining, and optimizing web solutions using PHP, Laravel, WordPress, and modern JavaScript frameworks. You will collaborate directly with the client via project management tools such as Asana, translating requirements into effective technical solutions. This position offers a unique opportunity to work independently, propose innovative ideas, and deliver high-quality results that directly impact the client’s recruitment efforts. The role requires excellent communication skills, initiative, and a problem-solving mindset to ensure continuous improvement and adaptation to evolving client needs.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess at least three years of full stack development experience, with a strong background in PHP (Laravel and WordPress) and JavaScript (ES6+). Proven expertise in API integration, database optimization, and performance tuning is essential. Familiarity with SOAP-based enterprise APIs such as Workday, as well as experience with modern JavaScript frameworks like Vue.js or React, is highly desirable. Candidates should have hands-on experience with tools such as Docker, Git, Composer, and CI/CD pipelines. A solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and accessibility standards is required, along with the ability to develop responsive and user-friendly interfaces. Strong debugging skills, experience with unit testing (PHPUnit, Mockery), and knowledge of deployment and monitoring tools like Sentry will set successful applicants apart. Excellent communication skills in English and a structured, performance-oriented mindset are vital for success in this role.
