My client is one of the largest systematic hedge funds in the world and they are hiring for a Principal Data Engineer to join their team in Miami.

Compensation
• $600,000 - $1.5M Total Compensation depending on level of experience.

What's the Job?
• You will be working within a centralized Data Science/Machine Learning team that is supporting hundreds of Quantitative Traders deploying high-frequency to medium-frequency strategies.
• Own their internal Data Pipeline systems along with other related Data Engineering functions.
• Act as a thought leader within their group regarding new technologies and methodologies.
Requirements
• 7+ years of experience, ideally from the tech or financial services industry.
• Expert-level knowledge of Python, DBT, Cloud technologies, and other related Data Engineering tools and technologies.
• Strong ownership over all of their Data Engineering projects.
Location
My client’s office is in Miami and you will work out of that office in person. Relocation packages are provided for new hires.
