Role: Golang / HashiCorp Vault Engineer
Title: AVP/VP
Location: New York , NYC
Mode of Work: 3 days/week onsite
Work type - Fulltime & C2H(6 Months)
Required Experience: 5+ years
● Maintain, develop, test, support and enhance a legacy Java-based application running in production.
● Handle a mix of development, engineering and operational tasks — bug fixes, automation, and DevOps work.
● Work with the squad and wider Technology stakeholders to improve services through development, automation and effective observability.
● Enforce adherence to architectural standards/principles, global product guidelines, and usability design standards.
● Participate in design discussions, code reviews, and Agile ceremonies.
● Develop new integrations, plugins, and onboard new tools to support business needs and integrate with the Morgan Stanley ecosystem.
● Contribute to building SCV offerings out on the Vault platform.
● 5+ years of hands-on experience with Golang.
● Strong object-oriented / software design fundamentals for robust, scalable solutions.
● Strong experience with HashiCorp Vault — auth backends, secret engines, and plugin development.
● Experience working with public cloud providers (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
