Job Description
As a DevSecOps Engineer with MTSI, you will be responsible for aiding in solutioning, implementing, and sustaining CI/CD and DevSecOps technologies. You will be responsible for ensuring CI/CD security posture meets any requirements. You will aide in the decomposition of requirements and the planning of tasking. You will contribute to the development, testing, operations, and sustainment of the CI/CD solutions and environment integrations. You will help and support the software engineering teams. You will interface frequently with stakeholders across different disciplines and organizations. This is a remote role with travel to Dayton, OH required. This position will initially be a Hybrid position that may eventually transition into a full-time onsite role.

Your essential job functions will include but may not be limited to:
- Embrace and champion Agile development processes and adopt modern DevSecOps workflows and practices while providing technical guidance to team members and coworkers on best practices.
- Write documentation for DevSecOps standards, processes, designs, and other required documentation.
- Help design and define pipeline architecture for new / existing systems.
- Help oversee and manage CI/CD solutions, container images, etc.
- Ensure the security and other best practices are being used throughout all processes.
- Collaborate with Information Assurance and Cybersecurity SMEs to ensure security controls are implemented and requirements are met.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines to support Golang.
- Maintain and sustain CI/CD pipelines for Python.
- Support Python and Golang application teams as a DevSecOps engineer.

- 5+ years combined experience working as a Software, DevOps, or DevSecOps Engineer.
- Experience developing Software and CI/CD design and standards documentation.
- Experience with technologies including CI/CD, GitLab, GitLab CI, Docker/Podman, Nexus/Artifactory, Grype/Trivy, OpenSCAP, Syft, or equivalent/related technologies.
- Experience with common modern programming languages like Python and Golang.
- Experience with supporting enterprise CI/CD pipelines.
- Proficiency with implementing and practicing GitOps, CI/CD, and DevOps.
- Proficiency in Linux.
- Preferred experience with technologies including Helm, ArgoCD, Kubernetes, SonarQube, Packer, Terraform, Ansible or equivalent/related technologies.
