CloudOps Engineer in CYPRUS

We are looking for an experienced CloudOps Engineer to lead our DevOps initiatives, improving our infrastructure automation, releases, availability, health and performance of our serverless payment platform. Your efforts will play a crucial role in advancing the company’s technology and operational excellence.

Responsibilities:

• Review and refactor existing Terraform code and configurations to boost operational efficiency
• Create, enhance and document Terraform modules that are consumable by different teams and environments
• Manage the configuration, deployment and upkeep of our white label payment platform
• Optimise and simplify the existing pipelines
• Overseeing our alerting and logging mechanism to ensure our platform achieves the desired availability and provide feedback on standards we can adopt
• Review code, database scripts and other application configuration settings before being released to production
• Propose innovative technologies, tool sets and capabilities that help in the overall performance and availability of the platform

Essential Skills:

• Proven experience in AWS, Linux and Terraform
• Experience in building a similar self service / self consumption Terraform framework
• In-depth knowledge of CI/CD processes and tools with a strong emphasis on automation and continuous improvement
• Experience in TCP / IP / network stacks including load balancers, firewalls, WAF’s, CDN’s
• Experiencing in scripting and automation
