Key Responsibilities

Data Engineer (Snowflake) at BairesDev

As a Data Engineer (Snowflake), you will design and build scalable ELT pipelines and data models within the Snowflake Data Cloud. You will act as a link between raw data sources and actionable business insights, ensuring that data is transformed and organized efficiently for high-performance analytics.

What You'll Do

  • Design, implement, and optimize robust ELT workflows using Snowflake and dbt to process large-scale datasets.
  • Develop and maintain modular data models, applying software engineering best practices such as version control and automated testing.
  • Orchestrate complex data pipeline dependencies and schedules using Apache Airflow to ensure data freshness and reliability.

What We Are Looking For

  • 4+ years of experience in Data Engineering with a focus on the modern data stack.
  • Proven expertise in building and optimizing ELT pipelines and data models using Snowflake.
  • Proficiency in using dbt for data transformation and managing complex data models.
  • Hands-on experience with Apache Airflow for workflow orchestration and pipeline management.
  • Advanced proficiency in writing and optimizing complex SQL queries for data extraction.
  • Advanced proficiency in English.
