Bliss Digital, a leading human-centred web design and development agency, is seeking a motivated QA Tester / Production Assistant to join our experienced production team.

This is a full-time, 100% remote work-from-home role open to candidates across Australia.

Australian citizenship is mandatory, as this role will support Australian Government projects and requires the ability to obtain Baseline security clearance.

The Opportunity

The primary focus of this role will be website quality assurance. You will perform manual and automated testing across websites and digital features, helping ensure that work delivered by our development team meets technical, functional, accessibility and presentation standards.

The role will also provide valuable support to our production team and Digital Producers. This will include responding to JIRA and Zendesk tickets, attending weekly WIP meetings, taking briefs and helping coordinate and deliver work for our web support and maintenance clients.

This is an excellent opportunity for a junior candidate with some industry experience or a mid-weight professional looking to progress their career within a stable, longstanding digital agency with great clients, established processes and strong technical capability.

Your Role

As our new QA Tester / Production Assistant, you’ll:

• Perform manual testing across websites, applications and digital features
• Support automated testing processes and help improve QA practices
• Test websites across different browsers, devices and screen sizes
• Identify, document and help resolve functional, visual, accessibility and usability issues
• Test forms, content, navigation, integrations and user journeys
• Respond to and help manage support requests through JIRA and Zendesk
• Attend weekly WIP meetings to take briefs and understand upcoming client work
• Assist Digital Producers with the coordination and delivery of support and maintenance tasks
• Work closely with developers, designers, Producers and Digital Producers
• Help prepare work for client review, UAT and release

• Maintain clear testing documentation, checklists and defect reports
• Communicate clearly with team members, clients and stakeholders where appropriate

What We’re Looking For

• Some experience in website QA testing, web development or digital production
• An understanding of the technical and functional aspects of websites
• Familiarity with manual testing processes and defect reporting
• An interest in automated testing and quality assurance tools
• Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Good collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively within a remote team
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing tasks
• A proactive, reliable and solutions-focused attitude
• A willingness to learn and progress your career in digital delivery

Experience

This role would suit candidates with experience in areas such as:

• Web or software QA testing
• Digital production or project coordination
• Website development or front-end development
• Website support and maintenance
• Content management systems such as Drupal, WordPress or Shopify

Prerequisites

• Australian citizenship is mandatory
• The successful candidate must be able to obtain and maintain Australian Government Baseline security clearance
• Working from Australia is required
• Previous experience in a web development agency or digital delivery environment is desirable

Salary

$80,000–$95,000 package depending on experience.
