Who we looking for?
We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our airspace industry project. This multi-year opportunity may require occasional travel within Europe.
Role And Responsibilities
Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) scripts using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates.
Automate the provisioning and management of cloud infrastructure, ensuring consistency and repeatability.
Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate the build, test, and deployment of applications and services.
Integrate automated testing and quality assurance processes into the CI/CD pipelines to ensure high code quality and rapid delivery.
Implement monitoring and logging solutions to provide visibility into the performance, reliability, and security of applications and infrastructure.
Use tools such as ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana), Prometheus, Grafana, and Azure Monitor to set up monitoring and logging.
Work closely with development, operations, and security teams to support the deployment and operation of applications and services.
Provide technical guidance and support to development and operations teams on DevOps best practices and tools.
Ensure that infrastructure and applications are designed and implemented for high performance, scalability, and reliability.
Ensure that security best practices are integrated into all aspects of the CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure, and applications.
Collaborate with the security team to implement security controls, such as secrets management, encryption, and access controls.
Required Skills And Experience
Higher Education - minimum bachelor’s level.
Proven experience in designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines and automation solutions.
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, particularly Azure, and related services.
Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Ansible, and ARM templates.
Experience with CI/CD tools (such as Jenkins, Argo CD or Azure DevOps), Git, Artifact management (such as Nexus Sonatype).
Strong understanding of containerization and orchestration technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes.
Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools, such as ELK Stack, OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Grafana, and Azure Monitor.
Familiarity with scripting languages, such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
