About the role
As a Senior Security Engineer, you will be responsible for owning application security within a rapidly scaling AI platform. This role suits a strong software engineer eager to focus on security or an experienced AppSec engineer comfortable in fast-paced environments. You will collaborate with product engineering teams to embed security into the software development lifecycle and safeguard customer data.
What You’ll Do
- Design and implement application security controls across a multi-tenant AI agent platform, focusing on secure coding practices, threat modeling, and vulnerability management.
- Partner with product engineering teams to integrate security throughout the SDLC, from design to deployment.
- Build security tooling and automation to help developers quickly identify and remediate vulnerabilities.
- Lead security code reviews and architecture assessments for new features, particularly those involving AI model integrations and customer data handling.
- Respond to security incidents related to application vulnerabilities and drive post-incident improvements.

The Ideal Candidate
- 4+ years of experience in a technical role related to security or software engineering.
- Proficient with tools and technologies such as Google Cloud Platform, Python, Kubernetes, CI/CD Pipelines, Semgrep, CodeQL, and container security.
- Experience with SAST, DAST, and IAST methodologies.
- Strong communicator capable of working closely with engineering teams to implement security practices.
