Job Description


As a System Support Engineer, you will be responsible for:

  • Manage, monitor, and maintain Windows-based servers and services, ensuring they are secure, up-to-date, and operating efficiently.
  • Administer and optimize Windows environments hosted on cloud platforms, specifically AWS EC2 instances.
  • Deploy, configure, and manage AWS services, including but not limited to EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, VPC, and CloudWatch.
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts (using PowerShell, Bash, or Python) for system tasks, deployments, and monitoring.
  • Work with development teams to support application deployments and troubleshoot issues.
  • Create and maintain detailed documentation of the infrastructure, procedures, and best practices.
  • Work with the Agile multicultural teams in Asia, the EU, Canada, and the USA.


Profile Requirements


For this position of System Support Engineer, we are looking for someone with:

  • (Required) Proven experience as a System Administrator or System Operation Engineer, with a focus on Windows environments.
  • (Required) Proficient in AWS core services, such as EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, and Lambda.
  • (Required) Proficient in Cloud monitoring solutions; preferably CloudWatch, CloudTrail, Datadog, and Splunk.
  • (Required) Experience in scripting and automation using tools like PowerShell, Python, or Bash
  • (Required) Proficient in infrastructure management; preferably Terraform, CloudFormation, and Ansible. 
  • (Good to have) Proficient in AWS networking solutions' components, including components of VPCs (subnet, routing) and network security (security groups, network ACLs).
  • (Good to have) Related AWS certifications, including but not limited to Associate or Professional tiers of Solutions Architect, SysOps, and/or DevOps.
  • (Good to have) Knowledge on data compliances, especially on region-based regulations (GDPR) and industry-based regulations (HIPAA).
