Position Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced QA Tester to join our dynamic development team. As a QA Tester at Gallimore Software, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our software products and solutions meet the highest standards of quality, functionality, and performance. You will be responsible for identifying bugs, conducting various testing processes, and collaborating closely with developers to resolve issues before our products reach the customer.

Key Responsibilities:

• Test Planning: Collaborate with developers and project managers to understand project requirements and create detailed test plans.
• Manual Testing: Conduct thorough manual testing of software applications, including functionality, usability, and regression testing.
• Automated Testing: Write and execute automated test scripts where applicable to improve efficiency and coverage.
• Bug Identification and Reporting: Identify, document, and report bugs and issues in a clear and organized manner using the company’s bug-tracking tools.
• Collaboration: Work closely with developers to reproduce issues, provide detailed feedback, and ensure timely resolution.
• Test Documentation: Maintain detailed and accurate test documentation, including test cases, test scripts, and test results.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure that software meets the company’s quality standards before release, with a focus on user experience, reliability, and performance.
• Continuous Improvement: Provide input on process improvements and contribute to the development of best practices for quality assurance.

Qualifications:

• Experience: 2+ years of experience in software testing, including manual and automated testing.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in using QA tools and software such as Selenium, JIRA, TestRail, or similar. Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Java) for automated testing is a plus.
• Attention to Detail: Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to clearly document and explain issues.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to identify and troubleshoot software issues efficiently, working closely with developers to resolve them.
• Remote Work: Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines.

Compensation and Benefits:

Base Salary: $300-$400/month.
