Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced IT Network & Security Support Engineer – L1 with strong hands-on experience in network infrastructure, security systems, server administration, and troubleshooting.
The ideal candidate should have practical knowledge of networking, firewalls, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, endpoint security, and cybersecurity practices. The candidate will be responsible for supporting day-to-day IT network and security operations and resolving technical issues efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot network infrastructure, including switches, routers, firewalls, Wi-Fi, and VPNs.
- Monitor network performance, availability, and security incidents.
- Manage Active Directory, Microsoft 365, DNS, DHCP, and user access controls.
- Configure and maintain firewall policies, endpoint security, and network access controls.
- Perform vulnerability assessments, patch management, and security compliance checks.
- Support backup and disaster recovery activities.
- Maintain IT infrastructure documentation, configurations, and technical records.
- Collaborate with users, vendors, and internal teams to resolve network and security-related issues.
- Troubleshoot connectivity, system access, network performance, and security-related problems.
- Follow IT security policies, procedures, and industry best practices.

Required Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, Routing, Switching, VLANs, STP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and Wireless Networking.
- Hands-on experience with firewalls such as Fortinet, Sophos, Palo Alto, or Cisco.
- Experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and Azure AD.
- Familiarity with Endpoint Security, SIEM Monitoring, and Incident Response.
- Basic understanding of cybersecurity frameworks and security best practices.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Good technical documentation and communication skills.

Educational Qualification
- Diploma or equivalent technical qualification is preferable.
