Location: IT – Position is 100% fully remote with the ideal location in central to eastern Canada, to occasionally meet with their direct reports.

About the Role: The Senior Director of Global IT & Support will manage the global technical support team, ensuring the efficient functioning of IT systems, networking, and support services. This role will oversee IT support for global offices and warehouses, focusing on SOP management, networking, end-user support, and helpdesk operations.
What You Will Do:
- Lead and mentor a team of support technicians, including level 1, 2, and 3 support staff, ensuring high-performance standards and fostering professional growth.
- Coordinate IT initiatives across departments and locations, aligning with organizational objectives, and maintaining IT infrastructure, systems, and applications.
- Enhance support and IT processes for improved efficiency, user satisfaction, and reduced downtime.
- Oversee IT budgeting, ensuring cost-effectiveness and proper resource allocation.
- Collaborate with vendors and third-party service providers, participating in contract negotiations and SLA discussions.
- Maintain strong cybersecurity and compliance, working closely with the Cyber lead and Enterprise Architecture team.
Who You Are and What you Bring:
- PowerShell and automation: Experienced in code infrastructure (Ansible, Terraform) and CI/CD processes.
- Networking: Skilled with VPN, WLAN, TCP/IP, FTP/SMTP protocols, and troubleshooting.
- Cisco and routing: Proficient in Cisco technologies, internet routing, and network management.
- Fortinet products: Knowledgeable in Fortinet networking products, including SSLVPN, MFA, SDWAN, HA, VPN, VLAN, TCP/IP, and BGP.
- Virtualization & Cloud: Experienced with VMware, Hyper-V, Azure, and cloud technologies.
- Compliance: Adept at ensuring compliance with IT policies, procedures, and standards.
