Role Overview
This is a hands-on, build-first individual-contributor role. The engineer will work directly with business and technical stakeholders, understand complex operational problems, translate them into practical requirements, and own assigned solutions from discovery and design through implementation, deployment, production support, and continuous improvement.
The engineer will build production-grade agentic AI applications, including AI agents that perform multi-step reasoning, orchestrate tools and APIs, manage context, handle exceptions, and support human-in-the-loop workflows. The work may also include production RAG pipelines, vector search, reusable AI services, and integrations with enterprise platforms through MCP, REST APIs, OpenAPI specifications, webhooks, and event-driven architectures.
Must-Have Criteria
Candidates must have:
At least 4 years of relevant software and AI engineering experience
Strong hands-on Python skills, with practical experience in at least one additional language (TypeScript/JavaScript, Java, or C#)
Production experience with Generative AI, LLM applications, and agentic AI workflows
Proven ability to deliver software from requirements and solution design through deployment and production support
Practical experience with APIs, asynchronous programming, typed data validation, testing, CI/CD, source control, structured logging, and error handling
Experience with production RAG patterns, vector databases, or search platforms
Experience deploying containerized solutions in cloud environments with monitoring and observability
Ability to take end-to-end ownership, including deployment, operational support, and relevant DevOps activities
Fluent English and strong communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders
Strictly on-site in Abu Dhabi — remote or hybrid not available
Eligibility for UAE government security clearance
