Senior Game Developer in FRANCE

Our Pocket Champs team (wait, you still don't know what Pocket Champs is? Mmmhh check our Mad trailer !!👀) is looking for a Senior Game Developer.

Your future responsibilities and scope:

• Implement new systems that are easily maintainable to sustain the scale of the game and make it grow.
• Be a team player, help your peers grow, give feedback, and write understandable code.
• Clean and refactor code when needed. Pin point systems that would need to be reworked and suggest new designs for them.
• Support our well-balanced and efficient team with additional talent to achieve ambitious goals.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
• Work closely with designers, artists, and other developers to create cohesive and engaging game experiences.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to integrate new features and improve existing ones

The profile we are looking for:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Game Development, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in game development, but what matters most is the driving force and potential to move the game forward
• Solid understanding of mobile gaming, game mechanics, gameplay, UI, and UX.
• Proficiency in Unity
• Flexible, autonomous, and proactive
• Well-organized with good delivery speed
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Able to write robust and readable code
• Experience using MVC design pattern
• Previous experience in working on a mobile game that scaled is appreciated.
