Hybrid integrations Developer (node.js) to an iGaming group in Malta

*Hybrid - 3 days office / 2 days home office per week

*We can consider EU citizen relocations to Malta or any relevant developers residing in Malta and in possession of a work permit in Malta (we can not support work permits and visas to the candidates currently located outside of Malta)

*Relevant relocation package: 4 weeks accommodation, flight, and luggage allowance

The company has B2B, B2C and acquisition/lead generation arms, with physical locations in Sweden, Malta, Bulgaria and Spain, and also a number of remote team members around the world.

Responsibilities:

• Design & build accurate, scalable integrations with B2C operators and/or aggregators.
• Ensure that all work done is documented.
• Work with the Operations team to ensure that all development done is aligned with business requirements.
• Build trusting relationships between yourself and the team of highly skilled Software Developers.
• Responsible for the SDLC from beginning to end.
• Collaboration with other technical managers across our business.
• Provide feedback during the planning phase of the integrations stream.
• Develop a deep understanding of client’s APIs.
• Understanding the APIs of the operator and/or aggregator we’re integrating towards.
• You will be responsible for high quality deliverables.
• Alignment with strategies implemented across the tech organisation is a must.
• Set up and configure operators on existing integrations in order to support the growth of the business.

Requirements:

• Agile Mindset with a working knowledge of Agile Methodologies.
• Good knowledge of JavaScript mainly backend (nodejs) is considered an asset.
• Strong experience within a similar position, with a background of working within large organizations in a solution design.
• Experience, but not a must, with AWS services such as API Gateway, Cloudwatch and Event Bridge, ECS and Fargate, Lambda, SNS, Cognito, S3.
• Experience with Docker and Git.
• Open to learn about new technologies and/or programming languages.
• Familiarity with MySQL/MariaDB and Redis (it is a plus if with AWS RDS and ElasticCache).
• Good communication skills in English.
• You work well in a fast paced and ever-changing environment.
