Who is Synaps?
- An Austrian startup based in Vienna but with global ambitions.
- Co-founded in 2023 by Kevin Cobaj, a Product Owner and software engineer with an expertise in Proptech and Contech, Brendon Ahmeti, an architect with a decade of experience in real estate development, and Agron Bajraktari a lead researcher and software engineer with publications in Data Science and Cyber-Security.
- One of the fastest growing waitlists and is considered by industry experts to be the Figma of architectural design.
- Beta version launch planned in Q4 2024.
As a AI/ML Engineer you will:
- Work with our AI consultants to set up the necessary infrastructure
- Lead the development of core AI features
- Develop and improve graph-based models (GNNs, CNNs)
- Conduct experiments to improve model performance and develop evaluation metrics
- Continuously extend training datasets with edge cases and improve upon the existing model
- Implement active learning techniques to improve model performance
- Set and maintain high quality standards and processes: tests and documentation
We’d love to hear from you if you have:
- Strong experience with Graph Neural Networks (GNNs)
- Proficiency in Python and PyTorch or TensorFlow for machine learning implementation
- Experience with data preprocessing and pipeline development, especially for graph data structures
- Experience with setting up and running machine learning experiments
- Knowledge of data versioning and experiment tracking tools like DVC
- Understanding of active learning and data-centric AI approaches
- Experience with MLOps practices and tools
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical implementations
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical team-members
While it’s not required, it’s an added plus if you also have:
- Understanding of 2D and 3D space
- Basic knowledge of mathematical concepts
- TypeScript experience
- Experience using AWS and AWS CLI
- CI/CD pipelines
