  • Define requirements necessary to achieve behavioral safety.
  • Evaluate SOTIF artefacts in collaboration with system experts, software development teams, and test specialists.
  • Develop a comprehensive V&V (Verification & Validation) strategy for SOTIF, and define and assess relevant test requirements, metrics, and strategies for system- and component-level testing.
  • Execution of SOTIF test campaigns in the verification and validation phase.
  • Assess and support the end-to-end SOTIF process leading to a SOTIF release recommendation.

What will help you to fulfil your role

  • Expertise in safety assurance and safety standards for autonomous systems (ISO 21448, ISO 26262, ISO 3450x, UL 4600, ISO 5083, …)
  • Requirements engineering
  • Creation and maintenance of scenario and triggering condition catalogues for testing
  • Strong experience in V&V or test management for automated driving, robotics, or ADAS
  • Software engineering, development, and testing
  • Statistics, testing methodologies, and simulation environments
  • Ability to communicate complex topics clearly and confidently to engineering teams, management, and safety stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical skills, a structured mindset, and a high sense of quality.
  • Fluent English skills, German skills are highly beneficial.

We welcome applicants from diverse backgrounds — even if you don't meet every requirement. If you're excited about the role and MOIA's mission, we'd love to hear from you!
