Backend Go Developer in BRAZIL

Note: Project Timezone: UTC-8:00 America/Los Angeles. Overlap hours: 7 hrs/day with PST. Position 100% Remote for citizens of Brazil or Mexico.

About the role

A well-established, NASDAQ-listed company that is bringing a crypto-revolution by making it easier for its end-users to buy and sell cryptocurrency, is looking for a Golang Developer. The selected candidate will be responsible for expounding the company vision, as well as creating, maintaining, and optimizing the customer-facing aspects of the company’s newest product. The company is a well-established player in the crypto world whose post-IPO funding is valued at over $497 Million. This is a great opportunity for developers who are looking to work within a globally recognized company and can provide 6-8+ hours of overlap with the PST time zone.

Job Responsibilities:

• Understand user requirements and build transformative features to enhance user experience.
• Build highly-scalable and interactive solutions to engage the end-user.
• Collaborate with back-end developers to improve platform usability.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and implement them to improve platform performance.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience).
• At least 5+ years of relevant experience as a Backend Developer.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience with Golang in production.
• Prior experience working in a microservices architecture environment.
• Experience with MongoDB or DynamoDB.(Preferably).
• Experience with AWS.
• Prior experience working with fintech, security, payments, etc. (Preferably).
• Excellent spoken and written English communication skills.

Job Details:

• All positions should focus on Golang, with Ruby as a plus (nice to have).
• Nice to have: databricks, Snowflake, Kafka, Ruby/RoR.
