About The Role

Blacksmith Agency is seeking a talented and motivated UI/UX Web Designer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the full design lifecycle, from conceptualization to final layout, ensuring the delivery of visually compelling and user-centered digital experiences. You will collaborate closely with developers, strategists, and clients to translate complex requirements into innovative web designs that incorporate the latest trends and best practices. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for creating elegant solutions to complex problems, demonstrate excellent communication skills, and have a strong portfolio showcasing previous web design projects. Qualifications

• 5+ years of website design experience
• Proficiency with Figma
• Experience with Photoshop, Adobe XD, and Sketch is a plus
• A compelling portfolio demonstrating elegant and innovative web design projects
• Motion design experience is advantageous
• Prototyping skills and experience
• Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript

Responsibilities

• Lead the entire design process, including creation, conceptualization, wireframing, storyboarding, and final layout development for both mobile and desktop platforms
• Apply current design trends and modern branding styles to craft powerful brand narratives and visually engaging digital products
• Pay meticulous attention to detail to achieve pixel-perfect designs
• Identify user needs through research and insights, designing workflows and interactions that address those needs and enhance user experience
• Effectively communicate the purpose, concepts, and thought process behind designs to internal teams and clients
• Create cutting-edge designs for clients across various industries and organizational sizes, from SMBs to enterprise-level companies
• Promote user-centered design principles and demonstrate their value to team members, stakeholders, and subject matter experts
• Collaborate with strategy and business development teams to identify new opportunities and contribute to creative proposals
• Manage high-end projects with confidence, leveraging visual skills and strong interpersonal abilities to collaborate, incorporate feedback, and motivate team members
• Accept and incorporate critique from team and clients to refine designs iteratively, ensuring a polished final product
• Meet project deadlines with thoughtful organization and execution of files, layers, and folders
