About The Role
Prince of Travel is seeking a skilled and creative Full Stack Developer to optimize and expand our websites, and support the development of new websites and landing pages to drive business growth. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in web development, including both front-end and back-end technologies, and the ability to collaborate with our marketing and product teams to achieve our goals. Familiarity with Astro, Netlify, database management, and design skills are essential. Experience with WordPress is also required. A passion for travel and Miles & Points is also a plus.
Responsibilities
Full Stack Development:
Design, develop, and maintain web applications, ensuring seamless integration of front-end and back-end components.
Collaborate on the architecture and implementation of scalable and efficient systems.
Website Speed Optimization:
Analyze and identify performance bottlenecks across our web platforms.
Implement optimizations to improve site speed and overall user experience.
Landing Page Creation:
Design and develop engaging landing pages to support our marketing campaigns and initiatives.
Ensure landing pages are responsive, visually appealing, and optimized for conversion.
Content Management:
Update and maintain website content, including text, images, and multimedia elements.
Ensure all content is SEO-friendly and follows best practices.
Collaboration with Product and Marketing Teams:
Collaborate with the Product team to support the parallel development of products within the Prince of Travel ecosystem.
Work with the Product team to understand business objectives and provide technical solutions to support marketing strategies.
Implement tracking and analytics tools to measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and product performance.
New Website Development:
Create and maintain additional websites to support new business ventures or projects.
Ensure consistent branding and functionality across all websites.
Technology Integration:
Utilize Astro for building fast, optimized web experiences.
Deploy and manage projects on Netlify for continuous deployment and hosting.
Manage and optimize databases to ensure data integrity and performance.
Design Collaboration:
Collaborate on UI/UX design to ensure an intuitive and visually appealing user experience.
Apply design skills to create and refine web layouts, graphics, and other visual elements with guidance from Designers, Product and Marketing
WordPress
Experience with WordPress development, including theme and plugin customization, is a plus.
Requirements
Strong communication and team skills
Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer with a portfolio of previous work.
Strong proficiency in front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and back-end languages (e.g., Astro, Vue.js, Python, PHP).
Experience with website optimization and performance tuning.
Familiarity with SEO best practices.
Experience with Astro and Netlify for web development and deployment.
Strong understanding of database management.
Design skills with a keen eye for UI/UX.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Creative problem-solving abilities and a strong attention to detail.
