Senior Native iOS Developer in AUSTRALIA

As a Senior Native iOS Developer at Newtracs, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining mobile applications for both iOS and Android platforms using native Swift / Objective C.

Your role will involve:

• You will be responsible for the migration of an existing codebase from React Native to Native iOS
• Developing and maintaining mobile applications using native mobile languages Swift / Objective C
• Writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
• Collaborating with the team to design and implement new features and improvements.
• Troubleshooting and debugging issues to ensure optimal performance.
• Staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies.
• Work independently and collaboratively in a small team environment.
• Participate in the full application lifecycle, from concept to deployment and beyond.
• Continuously improve the development process and suggest improvements.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Native iOS Mobile Developer.
• Experience working with React Native.
• Expert knowledge of native development for iOS (Swift, Objective-C).
• Experience working in small teams and handling full mobile app development independently.
• Familiarity with CarPlay integration is a plus.
• Experience with map-related / geospatial functionalities and integrations is highly advantageous.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
