We are seeking a highly skilled Senior PHP Developer who is eager to expand their expertise to full stack development or transition into a Java Developer role within one year.

As a Senior PHP Developer, you’ll take on the following responsibilities:
- Be an important part of our multinational agile software development team
- Continue our transition towards a microservice architecture
- Implement high-quality and scalable video asset management and video streaming solutions for enterprise customers
- Write well-structured and documented clean code
- Adopt the DevOps mindset: You build it, you run it
- Continuously update and expand the existing product
To thrive in the role as a Senior PHP Developer, you’ll need:
- Relevant work experience of minimum 5 years in building high traffic web applications using PHP, message brokers like Apache Kafka or RabbitMQ, and building CI/CD pipelines
- Strong knowledge and understanding of PHP > 8
- Knowledge and experience with Symfony (Symfony, Doctrine)
- Knowledge of MySQL and NoSQL databases (MongoDB) and search engine ElasticSearch
- Experience with RESTful APIs and integrating third-party APIs.
- Practical experience implementing automated tests: Unit, integration, and functional
- Proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like React or Angular is a plus.
- Fluency in the English language
Additional Bonus Skills
- Experience in building Domain Driven Design web applications and services
- Experience with Java or full stack development is a significant advantage.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes and Helm charts
- Experience with event-driven architectures
