Project Description
The project scope includes the implementation of new functionality towards the Locker Room Platform regarding customized model data management to enhance data flow.
The project is set up within the agile environment of Kanban framework
Background
For this project, special expertise in Playwright, Pact, React, Node.js, MySQL, Kubernetes, and Docker is required. The required technical proficiency in these specific areas is not available within the internal team. Consequently, the contractor will play a unique and critical role, providing services that are significantly different and complementary to those offered by our internal staff.
Service Description
The Parties will follow the Kanban framework to implement software development. To visualize work items (Jira Tickets) in Kanban, a Kanban board (in Jira) is used which shows the state of every piece of work at any time within the defined workflow. The approach represents a pull system. This means that each work item is pulled by the contractor themselves to provide an independent performance of the tasks.
Services will be coordinated between the parties within the Kanban meetings (daily standup, weekly replenishment, biweekly service delivery review, monthly retrospective).

- Creation and execution of manual test cases based on own expertise to validate software functionality using Jira
- Creation and execution of automated tests will be carried out using specific tools, including Playwright, Pact and Jest. These tests will encompass various aspects of the application, such as UI functionality, Contract tests, and end-to-end workflows.
- Improvement of automation framework to enhance test automation process
- Comprehensive testing services, including validation of REST API functionality to enhance the integration and communication between services
- Design, execution, and documentation of automated API (application programming interface) test cases, so that APIs meet all specified requirements.
- Review and refinement of Acceptance Criteria in User Stories will be conducted in Jira, based on both business requirements and the expertise of the role. This involves a clear definition of the Acceptance Criteria, so that they are testable and in line with the project’s goals provided upfront.
- Report of defects as ticket in Jira including steps to re-create defect
- Perform root cause analysis using expertise in quality assurance and tools used in the project, Jira, Postman and MySQL Databases. The analysis will identify the underlying causes of defects or issues discovered during testing. The findings will be documented and forwarded to the development team via Jira tickets.
- Update of the status of ticket delivery in Jira based on work done
The performance of the contractor has the goal of enhancing the quality of the software.
