What will you do?
You will work closely with highly skilled traders and quant researchers. As an all-around software engineer, you will be working on one of the core business teams, divided by markets. Each team will have the freedom to adjust their processes to fit the team's needs best. You will shape the priorities and goals by bringing the valued perspective of an engineer.
Your primary responsibility will be implementing new features end-to-end.
Tasks may include:
· Understanding and discussing requirements with team members such as traders and researchers.
· Designing, implementing, testing, and optimizing trading algorithms to maintain competitiveness in the market.
· Continuously enhancing and maintaining the long-term architecture of our proprietary trading system concerning latency, accuracy, capacity, regulations, etc.
· Collaborating closely with Trading, Research, and Trading Intelligence to innovate workflows through automation and optimization.
· Managing operational aspects to ensure project completion, including deployment, monitoring, and system adjustments.
· Addressing and resolving issues hands-on with a pragmatic approach as they arise.
Requirements
· Proficiency in creating production-grade C++ code.
· Preference for Python experience, or willingness to learn on the job.
· Commitment to code quality, taking complete responsibility for your contributions.
· Enjoyment in using efficient code to solve diverse problems.
· Practical, results-oriented mindset.
· Effective communication skills to comprehend requirements and articulate technical concepts to non-technical individuals.
· Desire to work within a diverse team environment, collaborating with traders and researchers regularly.
