Role Description The Information Technology Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Naples. This role is responsible for overseeing the IT infrastructure, systems, and applications that support WeAreFiber’s business operations and service delivery. Day-to-day activities include managing network and server environments, ensuring system security and data protection, coordinating hardware and software maintenance, and supervising IT support for internal teams. The IT Manager will plan and implement technology upgrades, collaborate with business stakeholders to align IT initiatives with organizational goals, and manage relationships with external vendors and service providers. This role also involves leading and mentoring IT staff, optimizing processes, monitoring performance, and ensuring compliance with relevant standards and policies.
Qualifications
- Strong experience in IT infrastructure management, including networks, servers, and cloud-based platforms.
- Proficiency in system administration, security best practices, backup and disaster recovery, and data protection.
- Experience leading IT teams, managing workloads, and supporting professional development.
- Ability to plan and execute IT projects, including system upgrades, integrations, and process improvements.
- Skilled in vendor management, budgeting, and cost optimization for IT services and solutions.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting abilities in fast-paced environments.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
- Experience in BPO, contact center, or similar service-oriented environments is an advantage.
- Fluency in English; additional language skills are beneficial.
