Embedded Software Engineer MID/SENIOR in CZECHIA

Teltonika’s telematics business unit develops and produces easy-to-use GPS tracking devices for effective fleet management in such spheres as logistics, agriculture, car sharing, construction, and more. Using the latest technologies, Teltonika sets new standards for the telematics industry. 

We are currently seeking an ambitious MID/SENIOR Embedded Systems Developer in the Czech Republic to work remotely with our rapidly expanding international R&D team. Teltonika’s telematics business unit develops and produces easy-to-use GPS tracking devices for effective fleet management in logistics, agriculture, car sharing, construction, and more. Using the latest technologies, Teltonika sets new standards for the telematics industry. Our companies serve a wide range of purposes, from tracking devices for various types of vehicles to innovative car-sharing systems. Our extensive product roadmap features two distinct portfolios: BASE and SCOPE, each comprising five programs. These programs are managed by dedicated teams of developers and product management professionals, ensuring a dynamic work environment where you can engage in diverse and innovative projects.

In this role, you will:

• Development of new features in C/C++ programming language
• Improvement of existing features
• Involvement in the maintenance of documentation
• Participation in Agile (Scrum) team life and internal processes
• Work with hardware engineers, software developer teams and Product Owners during the development life-cycle
• Taking part in mentorship and coaching of junior developers in the team

What we expect from you:

• 2+ years experience in programming embedded systems in C/C++
• Knowledge of embedded system debugging tools and various measuring equipment
• Experience in writing device drivers
• Independent problem-solving ability in large embedded systems projects
• Proficiency in multi-task embedded system architecture design methodologies and the latest software quality standards
• Good English verbal and written skills
• Ability to work fully remotely from the Czech Republic within an international team with the main office located in Lithuania

Ideally, you also have:

• Have a degree in Computer Science / Electronics engineering
• Know other programming or scripting languages CI/CD experience
• Ability to read and understand schematics
• Have BLE, GSM, LTE, and GPS modules programming experience
• Zephyr RTOS knowledge

What we offer:

B2B contract: Salary ranges from 20 Eur/h up to 40 Eur/h gross/brutto.

The exact salary depends on your expertise and experience, with the option to get bonuses.
