The role

The Space Data Analyst will form a key part of the Space & Workplace Team within the LSBU Group as they assume responsibility for the collection, validation and analysis of a wide range of data relating to the estate portfolio. The data will range from campus level information, individual space information, timetabling data, access control data and more.

The post holder will work closely with the wider Space & Workplace Team to support feasibility assessments of future projects, provide an evidence-based view to aid strategic decisions and make recommendations on how to achieve greater utilisation of space across the LSBU Group estate portfolio.

In addition, the Space Data Analyst will be responsible for the management of the Integrated Workplace Management System (IWMS) and the data within. The role will require that the data within is audited on a cyclical basis to ensure validity, updated when necessary and system reports are written to allow for efficient reporting of regular requests.

What You Will Bring

  • Have experience of working with property, estates, workplace or space-related data, with a strong focus on accuracy and data quality.
  • Be confident analysing data from multiple sources to identify trends, explain performance and support evidence-based decisions.
  • Have experience of using property data systems, ideally an Integrated Workplace Management System (IWMS).
  • Be able to create clear, accessible dashboards and reports using tools such as Excel, Power BI, Tableau or equivalent.
  • Communicate complex data and insights clearly to colleagues and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Be methodical, curious and collaborative, with the ability to manage priorities and continuously improve data and reporting processes.
