Data Engineering Manager in GERMANY

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for a Data Engineering Manager (F/M/D) to lead our data team on our mission to revolutionize the electronics industry with CELUS Design Platform. In this position you will support the team in designing and maintaining robust data architectures and pipelines, ensuring scalability and reliability.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Coordinating with the R&D and Product teams, working in a cross-functional and dynamic environment to align efforts and ensure seamless collaboration
• Gathering blockers and internal requirements from the R&D team, identify underspecified tasks, unknowns, and dependencies
• Establishing and tracking project milestones, monitoring progress and ensuring projects stay on track
• Ensuring that all projects are delivered within the agreed-upon time, scope, quality, and cost constraints
• Organizing and managing the software release process to ensure smooth and timely deployment
• Managing risks and implementing mitigation strategies

YOUR PROFILE

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of experience working in a Data Engineering role
• Strong technical expertise in ETL, data ingestion, and analytics, with hands-on experience in end-to-end data pipelines
• Either transitioning into management or recent experience with a leadership role, with a commitment to staying connected to the technical side of data engineering
• Being familiar with Agile methods like Scrum and Kanban
• Fluency in English, both written and verbal
• Organized, dynamic, communicative team player
• Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail and ability to effectively prioritize tasks
