Job Description
Location: Remote (Philippines)
Employment Type: Full-time
Growth Opportunity: As NorthBridge SEO continues to expand, this role offers significant opportunities to grow into Senior SEO Specialist, SEO Strategist, or Technical SEO Lead positions.
NorthBridge SEO is a specialized digital marketing agency that helps construction companies, remodelers, home builders, and service-based businesses strengthen their online presence through strategic SEO, high-performing websites, and growth-focused marketing.
Rather than offering one-size-fits-all solutions, we partner closely with our clients to build sustainable digital assets that generate qualified leads, increase visibility, and support long-term business growth. Our services include local and national SEO, technical SEO, website design and development, service and location page creation, Google Business Profile optimization, content strategy, and Fractional CMO consulting.
We're a growing agency that values ownership, continuous learning, attention to detail, and delivering measurable results.
NorthBridge SEO is seeking a full-time, remote Search Engine Optimization Specialist based in the Philippines to support a growing portfolio of U.S.-based clients.
This is a hands-on execution role. While you'll be expected to identify SEO opportunities, conduct audits, and develop recommendations, you'll also be responsible for implementing those recommendations yourself whenever possible. We're looking for someone who enjoys rolling up their sleeves—not simply producing reports, but making meaningful improvements that drive measurable results.
Day-to-day responsibilities include:
- Conducting keyword research, search intent analysis, competitor analysis, and topic clustering
- Performing technical, on-page, local, and content SEO audits
- Optimizing metadata, headings, internal linking, schema markup, URLs, image SEO, and content structure
- Implementing SEO recommendations directly within WordPress, Squarespace, and other content management systems
- Building and optimizing service pages, location pages, blog content, and landing pages
- Monitoring website performance using Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Screaming Frog, and other SEO platforms
- Identifying and resolving technical SEO issues affecting crawlability, indexing, Core Web Vitals, structured data, and user experience
- Supporting ethical link-building and citation initiatives
- Collaborating with designers, developers, content writers, and account managers to ensure SEO best practices are incorporated throughout every project
- Staying current with search engine algorithm updates and proactively identifying opportunities to improve client performance

- Strong keyword research skills, including search intent analysis, competitor research, and topic clustering
- Experience conducting comprehensive SEO audits across technical, on-page, local, and content SEO
- Proficiency with Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Screaming Frog, and at least one major SEO platform such as Ahrefs or Semrush
- Hands-on experience implementing SEO recommendations—not just identifying them
- Strong understanding of on-page SEO, including metadata optimization, heading hierarchy, internal linking, schema markup, image optimization, and content structure
- Working knowledge of WordPress and other CMS platforms, with the confidence to implement SEO improvements directly
- Basic HTML and CSS knowledge for making SEO-related website adjustments
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple client projects while maintaining high attention to detail
- Comfortable working independently in a fully remote environment

- Experience in an SEO agency environment
- Experience working with construction companies, home builders, remodelers, or local service businesses
- Familiarity with Local SEO, Google Business Profile optimization, and citation management
- Experience improving Core Web Vitals and page speed
- Experience using AI tools to improve productivity while maintaining high-quality output
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
This is not a role where you'll simply prepare recommendations and pass them to someone else.
We're looking for someone who takes ownership of their work from start to finish—someone who can identify opportunities, develop solutions, implement them, validate the results, and continuously refine performance.
The ideal candidate is proactive, resourceful, detail-oriented, and genuinely enjoys solving SEO challenges. They are comfortable learning new platforms, adapting to evolving search trends, and taking initiative without waiting to be told every next step.
If you're excited by seeing your work directly improve rankings, traffic, and client success, you'll thrive at NorthBridge SEO.
