Job Title: Software Engineer (Back-End)

Enmight is the engineering division of ESU, a globally recognized produce import company. Enmight aims to revolutionize operational efficiency for highly complex operations like ESU and look to set the stage to launch development projects which will expand our reach beyond the industry and worldwide.

To expedite our journey, we are assembling a team of highly capable software engineers to bring our vision to life.

This Software Engineer (Back-End) position is an exciting opportunity to develop a new and revolutionary product and see it go to market. The ideal candidate will meet the below description.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
• Strong CS fundamentals including data structures, algorithms, and distributed systems.
• 0+ years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages.
• Intense curiosity, willingness and passion to learn and grow.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in libraries/frameworks like GraphQL, gRPC, Spring Boot
• Experience with build tooling, including Gradle, Bazel, or Maven
• Experience with with databases like Cassandra, PostgreSQL

Responsibilities:

• Write and test product or system development code.
• Participate in, or lead design reviews with peers and stakeholders to decide amongst available technologies.
• Review code developed by other developers and provide feedback to ensure best practices (e.g., style guidelines, checking code in, accuracy, testability, and efficiency).
• Contribute to existing documentation or educational content and adapt content based on product/program updates and user feedback.
• Triage product or system issues and debug/track/resolve by analyzing the sources of issues and the impact on hardware, network, or service operations and quality.

Job Type: Full-time, In-Person.
