Product Owner - Fintech (Investment and Lending)

About Us

We're seeking a talented Product Owner to join our early-stage dynamic team and help drive the development of innovative fintech solutions in the investment and lending verticals.

Position Overview

As a Product Owner, you will be responsible for documenting functionalities, managing the backlog, and ensuring successful product delivery.

Key Responsibilities

1. Product Development

• Create detailed user stories and use cases to capture functional and non-functional requirements
• Document comprehensive product specifications, including user flows and clear technical requirements for the engineering team
• Use prioritization frameworks (e.g., MoSCoW, RICE, Kano) to evaluate and rank development work
• Balance customer needs, business goals, and technical feasibility in feature prioritization
• Maintain and refine the product backlog, breaking down large features into manageable tasks

2. Project Management

• Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables
• Establish acceptance criteria for deliverables
• Monitor project progress and adjust plans as needed
• Conduct regular status meetings and keep stakeholders informed

3. Collaboration and Communication

• Lead meetings such as sprint planning sessions and daily stand-ups
• Ensure clear communication and alignment across all team members and stakeholders
• Coordinate closely with engineering, design, and other stakeholders

4. Data Analysis and Reporting

• Track and analyze key product metrics (KPIs) to assess product performance
• Prepare and present reports and dashboards to stakeholders

5. Quality Assurance

• Perform functional QA testing to ensure the product meets requirements and covers main use cases
• Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) with stakeholders
• Gather and prioritize feedback for product improvements

Requirements

• Fully fluent in both Spanish and English (bilingual)
• 3+ years of professional experience in tech or a related field
• Experience in tech product development, with a proven track record in delivering successful software products
• Strong background in Agile methodologies
• Excellent organizational and prioritization skills
• Outstanding ability to translate complex processes into clear documentation
• Experience in stakeholder management and cross-functional team coordination
