Job Description

Key Responsibilities
Your tasks will include, but are not limited to:
- System & Network Administration & Google Workspace Restructuring
- Google Workspace Remediation: Execute the structural restructuring of Google Workspace across the network, implementing standardized Shared Drives and role-based folder architectures to mitigate data breach risks.
- Account & Access Life Cycle Management: Establish and strictly execute formal user account provisioning and offboarding processes, ensuring immediate access revocation for former employees and consultants.
- Backup & Disaster Recovery Operations: Implement and monitor daily automated backup routines for global environments (Google Workspace, Salesforce, and Certinia via Spanning or similar tools) and routinely conduct periodic data restoration tests.
- Policy, Risk Management & Compliance
- Security Standards Enforcement: Actively enforce the Network Minimum Standard Requirements for IT Security and support the rollout of the formal network security policy.
- Information Security & Data Privacy: Implement proactive procedures to eliminate unauthorized data access and fraud vulnerabilities, and ensure full compliance with GDPR and reporting obligations.
- Documentation Management: Maintain rigorous, updated technical documentation of all core global IT processes, system configurations, and security protocols to prevent institutional knowledge loss.
- Centralised Helpdesk & Global Systems Support
- Service Desk Execution: support day-to-day tickets for the Service Desk
- Regional Coordination: Coordinate with local Regional IT staff, empowering them to effectively serve as 1st line support for business operations and technical system troubleshooting.
- ED Office Coordination: Provide technical support to staff from the ED office

Knowledge And Experience
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, System Engineering, or equivalent practical hands-on experience.
- Hands-On Experience: Minimum of 2–3 years of professional experience in IT system administration, helpdesk coordination, or network security.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong administrative proficiency in Google Workspace Admin Console (access controls, Shared Drive governance) and hands-on exposure to Salesforce and Certinia ecosystems. Experience with GDPR and other privacy-related regulations.
- Backup & Security: Experience with package tools (e.g., Spanning) and implementing backup, data restoration, and user offboarding protocols.
- Languages: Working proficiency in English is required; additional languages spoken in Solidaridad regional offices (e.g., Spanish, Portuguese, French) are a strong asset.
