🏢 About Beringer Aero
Beringer Aero Group is a global leader in high-performance aircraft wheel, brake, and landing gear systems, serving OEMs, MROs, and aftermarket customers worldwide.
With dual operations in France and the USA, the Group leverages complementary certifications and expertise to deliver premium aerospace solutions across international markets:
- Beringer Aero SAS (France) – Headquartered in Tallard, France, our EASA-approved facility holds DOA (Design Organization Approval) and Part 21G (Production Organization Approval), enabling full design, manufacturing, and certification under European regulations.
- Beringer Aero USA – Established in 2012 to support North American customers, our US entity transitioned to full-scale production two years ago and has since achieved a major milestone: our first FAA PMA (Parts Manufacturer Approval).
Following this landmark PMA approval, Beringer Aero USA is now entering a critical growth phase, rapidly expanding our approved part number (P/N) portfolio across multiple aircraft platforms. This achievement positions us to scale production, penetrate new markets, and reinforce our reputation as a trusted global supplier in the aviation industry.
To support this expansion, we are seeking a strategic and hands-on Quality Manager to lead our USA-based quality systems, ensuring compliance with FAA and customer-specific requirements while driving operational excellence as we onboard new P/Ns over the next 12–24 months.
🎯 Position Summary
The Quality Manager will be responsible for maintaining, improving and scaling Beringer Aero USA’s quality management system (QMS) to support our PMA-driven growth. This role will ensure that all new and existing part numbers meet regulatory (FAA/EASA), customer, and internal standards while optimizing processes for efficiency and scalability. The ideal candidate will have deep experience in aerospace quality systems, a proven track record with FAA PMA approvals, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams through rapid expansion.
Key Challenge: Transitioning from a single PMA approval to a high-volume, multi-P/N production environment while maintaining zero-defect quality standards and accelerating time-to-market for new approvals.
🔧 Key Responsibilities
📜 Regulatory Compliance & Certifications

- Liaise with FAA DERs (Designated Engineering Representatives) and ODA (Organization Designation Authorization) representatives in partnership with the Group Certification Engineer to streamline approvals for new P/Ns.
- Maintain traceability of all FAA-approved data (drawings, processes, materials) and ensure configuration control downstream production lines.
🏭 Quality System Scalability
- Scale the QMS to accommodate 50+ new P/Ns over the next 2 years, including:
- Document control (revisions, approvals, and distribution).
- Process validation (control plans, work instructions).
- Supplier quality management (audits and risk assessments for new vendors).
- Optimize inspection and testing processes to reduce lead times without compromising quality.
- Automate quality data collection to improve real-time monitoring of production metrics.
