DevOps Engineer

Job Title: Senior DevOps Engineer (GCP)

Location: Australia, Remote

Type: Permanent

My client provides retailers with a platform to maxamise their marketing potential using real time data to identify the best marketing channels.

These guys are going through another growth phase and are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to come on-board and play a part in scaling and maintaining the GCP infrastructure. This is an exciting time for this team. You will be challenged daily and be given autonomy to shape the future infrastructure roadmap.

Responsibilities:

• Infrastructure management – Terraform on GCP / CDK on AWS

• Own CI/CD processes – Develop / maintain / enhance

• Monitor and optimise performance / suggest improvements

• Share security knowledge

• Troubleshooting / ensure minimum downtime / maximum reliability

• Collaborate with the head OF DevOps to define & enhance DevOps processes

Requirements:

• Ideally GCP certification

• Strong experience with cloud platforms & GCP services

• GCP global infrastructure (regions and zones)

• Experience with Virtual Private Cloud

• Strong understanding of Linux / Python scripting

• Track record designing Terraform

• Excellent communicator

Perm Role – 100% remote – Work anywhere in Australia – Ideally East Coast
