We are expanding our team and are looking for a Platform Engineer with 4+ years of experience to help develop, evolve, and enhance our infrastructure platform.
You will join a team responsible for a PaaS (Platform as a Service) platform that provides Kubernetes-based services on AWS, leveraging technologies such as Cloud Foundry to deliver a scalable and reliable platform for internal development teams.
Requirements:
- 4+ years of experience as a Platform Engineer or in similar roles within Cloud and DevOps environments.
- Strong experience with AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, Ansible, BOSH Orchestration, and Linux.
- Hands-on experience with automation and development using Python, Go (Golang), and Bash scripting.
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools, including Prometheus, Splunk, and the ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, and Kibana).
- Experience with React, JavaScript, and TypeScript will be considered a plus.
- Previous experience with Cloud Foundry and VMware Tanzu is highly desirable.
What Will You Do?
- Replace high-cost tools with open-source alternatives.
- Replicate the platform for another internal client (Athlon).
- Extend the platform to additional AWS regions.
- Assess the feasibility of a European sovereign cloud strategy.
- Integrate the PaaS platform into the One Developer Portal (ODP).
