About The Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Infrastructure Architect to lead the strategic development and execution of our infrastructure platform. In this role, you will define the long-term vision for our scalable, resilient, and secure distributed systems that support our expanding AI workloads. You will provide technical mentorship to engineering teams, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement. Collaborating cross-functionally with product, research, and security teams, you will ensure our infrastructure aligns with the company’s objectives, maintains high performance, and adheres to security and compliance standards. Your expertise will be pivotal in designing foundational platform services that enhance developer experience, reduce operational overhead, and enable rapid scientific and technological advancements. This role offers a unique opportunity to influence the technical direction of a cutting-edge AI company dedicated to solving some of the most complex global challenges.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software development experience with a focus on distributed systems
• Proven leadership experience managing high-impact engineering teams
• Expertise in cloud-native infrastructure, preferably GCP, and Kubernetes at scale
• Strong knowledge of GPU/ML infrastructure for training, data generation, and inference workloads
• Experience in designing scalable, high-performance, low-latency services
• Ability to decompose complex technical problems into manageable architectural solutions
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills across cross-functional teams
• Familiarity with regulated environments, data governance, and compliance standards (e.g., SOC2, data residency)

• Define and execute the architectural strategy for infrastructure, ensuring resilience, scalability, and security

• Design and implement foundational platform services to improve developer experience and operational efficiency
• Collaborate with product, research, and security teams to align infrastructure with organizational goals
• Drive platform innovation to support large-scale AI training, inference, and data workflows
• Ensure infrastructure compliance with relevant regulations and standards, managing high IP sensitivity environments
