The CTO/AI Leader will oversee the design, development, and execution of the company’s technology and AI strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives and client needs. This full-time, on-site role, based in Hong Kong SAR, involves leading software and product development initiatives, setting architectural standards, and implementing robust IT governance across platforms and tools.
The individual will collaborate closely with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to identify innovation opportunities, drive AI-driven solutions, and enhance internal and client-facing technology capabilities.
Day-to-day responsibilities include managing technical roadmaps, supervising project delivery, evaluating emerging technologies, and mentoring engineering and data teams. The CTO/AI Leader will also contribute to thought leadership, support client technology advisory engagements, and ensure security, scalability, and compliance across all systems.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Software Development and Product Development, with experience building scalable, secure, and user-centric solutions from 0 to 1.
- Proficiency in IT Strategy and Architecture, including defining technology roadmaps, governance frameworks, and system design standards.
- Demonstrated expertise in AI Project Management, leading cross-functional technical initiatives from concept to delivery.
- Hands-on experience with AI/ML technologies, data platforms, and cloud infrastructures (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) is highly beneficial.
- Proven leadership experience in senior technology roles such as CTO, Head of Engineering, or AI Lead, ideally in medical services environments.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business value.
- Track record of building and mentoring diverse, high-performing technical teams and fostering an inclusive, collaborative culture.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field; additional executive or business education is an advantage.
- Native Chinese speaking and writing. Relocation to mainland China is required.
