Job Description

Senior Data Centre Technician / Engineer - AI / GPU Infrastructure

Location: Santa Clara, US

I’m supporting a fast-growing AI cloud company that is building large-scale, GPU-accelerated infrastructure for AI training, inference and deployment.

They are looking for a Senior Data Centre Technician to take ownership of day-to-day operations at their Santa Clara site. This is a hands-on role for someone who knows how a data centre runs in practice - from server and network hardware through to power, Liquid cooling, environmental monitoring, installations, incident response and future site upgrades. This will be all done on the latest Nvidia GB200 and GB300 (NVL72)

The role will involve installing, configuring and maintaining enterprise servers, storage systems, networking equipment and other data centre hardware, with a particular focus on high-density GPU infrastructure. You will also help plan and execute new installations, upgrades, data hall expansions and build-out projects as the site continues to scale.

They are looking for someone with 3 - 5+ years’ progressive experience in data centre operations or IT infrastructure, ideally with direct hands-on exposure to NVIDIA or AMD GPUs.

This would suit someone who is confident operating independently, comfortable making decisions onsite, and able to act as the technical lead when required. You will work closely with network engineers, system administrators, remote hands teams and data centre leadership, while also supporting and mentoring more junior technicians as the team grows.

Experience with liquid cooling, large cluster deployments, data hall openings or high-density AI/HPC environments would be a strong advantage.

We are covering relocation costs for people outside of the state.
