🔎 What are we looking for?

We are looking for a Junior Functional Analyst / Product Owner with strong analytical and communication skills, eager to learn and grow in an international environment. The ideal candidate has a basic understanding of financial products, APIs, REST services, databases, and Agile methodologies, along with a high level of English (B2+). Previous experience or internships in banking, financial services, or Capital Markets will be highly valued.

📍Location: 100% Remote only in Spain

📋JOB RESPONSIBILITIES / ROLE

• Gather and document business requirements under the guidance of senior functional analysts.
• Support the definition and documentation of end-to-end business processes.
• Collaborate with IT teams to clarify functional requirements.
• Prepare functional documentation (Business Requirements, Functional Specifications, Process Flows, User Stories).
• Support the definition, preparation and execution of functional and UAT test cases.
• Assist in project tracking, reporting and status updates.
• Work effectively with different business and technology stakeholders.

📋MANDATORY SKILLS

• Proactive attitude with strong willingness to learn.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Basic understanding of financial products, preferably within Wholesale Banking (knowledge of FX, Fixed Income or Rates is a plus).
• Basic understanding of APIs, REST services and databases is desirable.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in an international environment.
• Language: High level of English (B2).

📋NICE TO HAVE

• Previous internship or 1–2 years of experience in banking or financial services.
• Exposure to Capital Markets or Corporate & Investment Banking (CIB) environments.
• Basic knowledge of derivatives or structured products.
