We are seeking experienced Full Stack Engineers to join our dynamic engineering team at Scalable Capital. In this role, you will be instrumental in building and scaling high-impact systems that span our entire digital product landscape. Your work will encompass developing client-facing web applications, automating workflows, and maintaining internal platforms that are critical to our core operations. Whether designing intuitive user journeys or architecting robust backend microservices, especially within a regulated environment, your contributions will directly influence our ability to deliver secure, reliable, and innovative financial solutions. The role requires a strong product mindset, balancing rapid delivery of business value with the creation of scalable, reusable architecture for long-term growth. Additionally, AI integration is a central aspect of our work, and you will have the opportunity to work hands-on with modern AI tools to embed intelligent features into our products and workflows, enhancing user experience and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, candidates should possess a solid educational background in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or demonstrate equivalent practical experience in building production-grade software. Key technical skills include strong hands-on experience with TypeScript, modern frontend frameworks such as React and Next.js, and backend frameworks like Node.js and NestJS. Candidates should have practical experience developing and operating both frontend web applications and backend services, including APIs and databases, in a production environment. A good understanding of REST APIs, GraphQL, authentication and authorization mechanisms (e.g., JWT), and service-to-service integrations is essential. Familiarity with cloud infrastructure and DevOps tools such as AWS, Docker, Git, CI/CD pipelines, and observability/debugging practices is also required. Strong analytical thinking, pragmatic decision-making, and ownership from conception to deployment are critical. Fluency in English, with clear, open communication skills, is necessary. Experience in distributed systems, event-driven architectures, or regulated environments is a plus but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

Your primary responsibilities will include end-to-end delivery of software solutions, ensuring high quality and security standards. You will develop and maintain client-facing applications, internal tools, APIs, and microservices across our technology stack. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams—including Product, Operations, Design, and Data—you will streamline complex workflows and contribute to building scalable, resilient software solutions. Emphasizing engineering excellence, you will write clean, testable, and maintainable code while prioritizing data privacy and operational reliability in a regulated environment. You will also contribute to architectural improvements, testing strategies, observability, and developer experience initiatives. Depending on your experience level, there will be opportunities to influence technical direction, mentor peers, and elevate engineering standards across the organization, fostering a culture of continuous growth and innovation.
