Role Overview:
We are seeking a Co-Founder with deep expertise in the Bitcoin protocol, decentralized finance (DeFi), an entrepreneurial mindset, and fluency in both Spanish and English. As a Co-Founder, you will be instrumental in shaping the strategic direction of Satolink, leading the technical development of our platform, and contributing innovative ideas to drive the company's growth. This role is equity-based initially, with no upfront salary, reflecting the startup nature of the position and offering significant potential rewards as the company scales.
Key Responsibilities:
- Blockchain Development: Lead the design and development of blockchain-based solutions with a focus on Bitcoin and DeFi functionalities, ensuring high performance, security, and scalability.
- Bitcoin Protocol Expertise: Utilize your in-depth knowledge of the Bitcoin protocol to build robust, efficient, and secure systems that interact directly with the Bitcoin network, including UTXO management, transaction scripting, and network consensus.
- Smart Contract Integration: Implement and maintain smart contracts that facilitate DeFi services on the Bitcoin network, ensuring secure and reliable operations.
- Personalized URL System: Develop and integrate the personalized URL feature that links directly to Bitcoin wallets, simplifying user transactions and enhancing user experience.
- Security Protocols: Design and implement advanced security measures, including encryption, multi-factor authentication, and secure key management, to protect user assets and data.
- Strategic Leadership: Collaborate with the founding team to define and execute the company’s vision, mission, and growth strategies, contributing entrepreneurial ideas and technical expertise.
- Problem-Solving: Tackle complex technical challenges with a creative, entrepreneurial approach, balancing innovation with practicality and scalability.
- Team Building: Assist in assembling and leading a talented technical team to support the platform’s development and scaling.
- Continuous Learning: Stay at the forefront of blockchain technology, particularly Bitcoin protocols and DeFi ecosystems, integrating new features and improvements to the platform.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in blockchain development, with a strong focus on Bitcoin and DeFi applications.
- Bitcoin Protocol Expertise: In-depth understanding of the Bitcoin protocol, including transaction structures, UTXO models, scripting, and network consensus mechanisms.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, or Rust, with extensive experience in blockchain-specific tools and frameworks.
- Security Expertise: Strong knowledge of cryptographic principles, security protocols, and best practices for securing blockchain applications.
- Entrepreneurial Mindset: A proactive, creative thinker with a passion for identifying new opportunities, solving problems, and driving innovation within a startup environment.
- Language Skills: Fluency in both Spanish and English, with excellent communication skills in both languages.
- Team Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively in a remote team environment, communicate effectively, and contribute to the overall growth of the platform.
