Role Description The Frontend Developer will design, build, and maintain user-facing interfaces that support Maranatha.Farm’s digital presence and mission. Day-to-day responsibilities include implementing responsive web layouts, optimizing performance, and ensuring accessibility across devices and browsers. The role involves collaborating with designers, backend developers, and other stakeholders to translate requirements into intuitive, visually appealing interfaces, as well as maintaining and improving existing frontend codebases. The developer will also help integrate frontend components with APIs, contribute to UX improvements, and follow best practices for security and maintainability. This is a full-time remote role.
Qualifications
- Strong Front-End Development skills, including modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Vue, or similar) and component-based architecture.
- Proficiency in Responsive Web Design, HTML5, CSS3 (and preprocessors), and cross-browser compatibility.
- Solid Web Development and Software Development fundamentals, including version control (Git), testing, and debugging.
- Basic familiarity with Back-End Web Development concepts and API integration to collaborate effectively with backend teammates.
- Experience building accessible, performant web interfaces and optimizing for usability and user experience.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage priorities, and communicate clearly with a distributed team.
- Interest in sustainability, regenerative agriculture, or environmental stewardship is highly beneficial.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
